La Artista y la Modelo (work in progress). From the roof of a building I perform an action of systematic observation, monitoring and analysis of the Modelo prison in Barcelona. This is the only jail that is actually placed into the city and was a symbol of political and cultural empowering fight agains the dictatorial government. As an artist portrays a model I portray different corners of the building using a ball pen. The sessions are held at any time and for an indefinite period of time. The paradigm of continuous surveillance generated by the panoptic occurs, but in reverse, the guard is monitored and through the eyes of an artist, who always walks cross the world. The process of long hours of surveillance and observation of "relationship" with the Modelo, is visible through the 50 drawings that occupy the 50 pages of this block in a continuous and always unfinished process ... In Touristing Ramblas, I consider the bike down the Ramblas, as a game that must be achieved to get down without trampling on any tourist. This approach comes naturally to me when I face, daily, at the extreme overcrowding of tourism in Barcelona.
Next Round is a project that I developed with the multidisciplinary artist and renowned DJ, Maral Salmassi. In this action, we have not yet filed, we propose a musical-performative game whose conceptual nuance lies in the interaction with the active viewer, and the thought around (fanaticism, taboos) religion, politics and violence. We do this, always, from an ironic and carefree sight, but proposing the reflection from the more direct action.
Connexions sense fils. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Creation Factory Fabra i Coats , I was asked to make a delocalized action that could connect the different spaces of the huge factory during the event. I stand in the space, dressed in black, and have a screen embedded in the body. As I move on either room, the screen is playing a video that I previously recorded and in which, through specific action, I think another dialogue with the place. Through my presence (present) of inaction in the bustle and my continuous action (delayed) in the video, in which the same space was empty, thus producing a state of intimate reflection of each receiver in relation to space -time, context, and other aspects.
Guestbook is my proposal, in the process, to INSIDE, exhibition at the City of Culture of Galicia. Participants of the first Artists Meeting, propose each a work in book form, we show within a container. My book was blank and this hung a pen. This emulated the typical book that is in museums and exhibitions, in which anyone can write or draw anything, freely expressing their opinion. At the end of the exhibition the book was fully covered.
iPodbio. This piece is an autobiography put into the mouth of others. I recorded my biography obtaining an audio file that I saved in my iPod. Then I asked a lot of people to use my earpieces, with different sections of this sound document. I asked them to try to repeat, at the same time, what they heard through headphones, while I was recording with my video camera.?Once I got in the words of all the people, the entire document, I mounted the video for playback on the iPod itself.?The presentation of this piece is always on an iPod with a video playing loop. To listen to the biography, it is necessary to put on headphones and maintain the intimacy that occurred during the preparation of the piece and the entire process, both of realization and of exhibition of the work.

Everything is ok is a video intended for installation in loop. In the video it looks like a bandage prevents a hand to adopt another position other than the position in this hand was bandaged. The victorious gesture of the hand which seeks to rid seem immovable and will be the viewer who decides the time he spent watching the video of the attempt to release and when to give up.

Welcome stranger. Mixed media. 2013. Dimensions: 2x2m (site-specific installation, and performance at 9the13 gallery for a solo exhibition). This work links multiple concepts starting with the biggest gold nugget ever found, called Welcome Stranger, going through the Duchamp machines, the world of professional sport and even the Spanish Crown, to the famous movie The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. It all is working together at a moving installation that is completed with a specific performance. The sketches book is also an important part of the exhibition where the audience can see all the concepts literally connected.
Tired artist, an action video. Made for TV, within the project WE ARE DO. This proposal referred acidly to the precarious situation of the artist in the art circuit.
ein, zwei, drei, vier. Performance Monster Girl made for the event, Kampnagel Hamburg, curated by Cheeks and Speed. For this occasion I decided to revisit the performance: 1, 2, 3, 4, who had introduced long before in a cycle of actions under (Museum of Contemporary Art of Vigo), this time the action was adapted to what could character extract of the Hamburg, in the short time I spent there. In the room they occurred more things at once and I was completely browned face and hands, wearing a headset microphone through which I was heard through the loudspeakers of the room with a distorted voice, making me look like a machine. Blindfolded and helped by people walked from corner to corner of the room. Upon reaching the corner had prepared a bowl filled with M & M's on a small stool, I sat holding the bowl and I repeated: Ich bin in der ecke, mich futter. By the time someone came to feed me, I would go to the next corner...
Cleaning the house (after Marina). 2011. Site specific action to L'Estruch and Japan presented in two symmetrical disused pools, belonging to the old factory that housed the center. I raise the action taking advantage of the obsolescence and accumulated dirt of the structure. Armed with an excess of security features for cleaning (almost nuclear), I enter one of the pools and start cleaning and throwing the garbage into the opposite pool, on which my action the morning before is projected... This action was to clean the other pool´s trash and throw it into the pool that I occupy at the time of the performance´s presentation.

Performance Clásica a la manera Tradicional. Classical Performance in the traditional manner, action and poster for Epipiderme 17, Lisbon. I realized this action primarily for Chámalle X, Pontevedra and later for Otro Espacio, Valencia. This is a piece in which I bare to the audience, without their wait, but in reality, under the clothes, I wear a costume of naked. So I walk down the street and then back into space, where I dress again.

Inter-acción. Videoinstalation. 2006 (DVD Limited edition). I am into the empty shop window of the 'Questions' fashion store, in Vigo, dressed in black with a black background and a steam engine. I turn on the machine and do not move. The glass is blurring. When fully clouded, I approach it and write messages seeking direct communication, a dialogue, with what happens outside. Some people respond, but most do not react. When water from the steam machine is over, I stop.

This is a project for Se Busca, with Alex Brahim, presented at the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona). Text from La Pinta: The artist Rita Rodriguez was interested in working with someone local level. Her collaboration with Alex Brahim of common, such as performance, action art and social issues interest. They met several times personally in the workshop of the artist and on the street. From the beginning they came to work on the idea of transmutation, something which interested Rita, and the idea of identity, something that interested him Alex. They decided to switch roles. Rita assume to be him, Alex, and Alex would assume to be her, Rita. Following the two had moved house in the same month, they began to be hard to get. Coincidentally they realized now living very close and straight, one in Rocafort street and the other in a corner with the same street. As both work on the context, they decided to work for Wanted on that path or road and interventions on the street in search of the connection between two people as the two spaces. Both have assumed the role of curator and artist. Presentations 6 and 7 October 2010. Auditorium MACBA, Barcelona.
encontrar-desinfectar-tatuar. 2008. (Mission in an abandoned bathroom, creative ROTEIRO at Santiago de Compostela). I'll get to the space provided with a belt on which a vaporizer, like the used to clean tiles, filled with disinfectant, is hung. I also take rags and indelible markers. The space has to be just as I found it, full of shit. ?I will go into one of the bathrooms and there think of a possible installation, action, intervention,... that fits the space. After thinking about something to do, I´ll begin to clean the first tile. With the tile clean and dry, I will write about the idea. I will repeat this process again and again, at a rate of one idea per tile. I will do so until I run out of ideas or all tiles get completed. People attending the performance will help me with new ideas that I can write. Depending on whether I complete tattooing the entire wall surface, each of the tiles that line the bathroom, or if I cannot do it, because of staying dry of ideas, I will win or lose in this fight against wild space. I will end up creating a second skin, in fact, an artificial and sterile tattoo like the real thing. A modification, a not infected real environment, the imposition of a scheme that applies to a space within the reticle that, in turn, make each of the geometric and cold slabs of space left and inert. Actually, what I will do is distort the space under your consent and approval ... I will take out its history, its halo and not only that. I will impose a new one that, for now, has nothing to do with it.

No sight - no site, everywhere like nowhere. This is a performative piece, projected to occur in the main hall of the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen. The piece was presented in Copenhagen Transit Station (exhibition as event), which ran over two days during which the performative actions continuously followed. In this action, I deeper into the room wearing a wireless headset and I was blindfolded. Until then it had never entered this room, nor knew the space. Once inside, the organizers led me to a place. Here was ready a large sheet of paper. Opposite the paper was placed a microphone that had direct access to my headphones. I asked the organizers hung on the microphone a message in which people were invited to describe the space within which I was and what was happening. With a pen I was drawing according to the descriptions and indications of people. Past few hours, when I finished my time, organizers came looking for me. As a result I got a sheet with a picture that somehow reflected the full contextual environment at the time of the action.

Norton. 2012. Within the cycle "The question of discipline," which was presented in Terrrassa, a group of artists propose independent actions but within the same space and event. After a long preparation in the months before I went to a two-month residency in Palma de Mallorca. When the event begins, the curator announces I have missed the plane and I'm ready to fly on the next plane going to Reus. Announces that will be reporting to see if I could be at the time of my performance. Time passes and interventions as well, so in the end the curator decides to project some of the videos by my work process, that I was sending from Mallorca. The videos elapse between parties, beach and a holiday atmosphere carefree about the project (people laugh). Finally the curator talks to me and, as arriving becomes physically impossible for me, I ask him to pass a video that had planned to interact with directly in the room, in this video I_ make movements assisted by a branch in a large sandy landscape(most people laugh). All ends and people goes to Moncunil room, where another exhibition is opened . Shortly after I appear with my suitcase and an ensaimada.?Throughout the event a security guard from Norton company was present in the room.

Santa Rita la Vendida (serie: 22/05/09). Santa Rita is the advocate of the impossible missions; in her front she sports a sign of suffering, an stigma that is the symbol and coronation of her life ...?I made this action for the camera on May 22, 2009. In which, I´m dressed with my common clothes but I intentionally neglected the provision of some of them, and the full expression of my body remember the saint in the day of its celebration.?In my front, I carry the stigma the red dot speaks about, into the art world, so that I expose myself to the public like an anti-hero.

Blanca. Video. 2009 (DVD Limited edition). When you go to a village, in order to work with the context... you usually look for an archaeological gaze, a look from outside, an analytical look at the different, the minority, surely special ... at risk of extinction. It resorts to the memory of the old people living there normally the most peculiar of its historical memories are collected and cataloged.?By Blanca each year passes a group of artists that makes specific projects in the village.?Aware of this and about to do the same, I realized that I could reverse this way of working because probably the townspeople was tired by the people passing and asking, but from which they never know anything . On the other hand, I had something to say and wanted to be listened to.?I decided to make some posters quoting the ladies of the town to relate the number of strange vicissitudes that occurred until I got to get to Blanca.?Thus, starting from my narrative, dialogue was generated. This dialogue, eventually, became debate among all the ladies. This conversation revealed the need for involvement by both parties and the inter-generational dialogue that already barely occurs.

Casually, in this interview with Irina Mutt, in my studio, you can see someone else is recording me and I wear gloves. These gloves are part of the Barcelona action, in which I was recorded during an entire day wearing those gloves . These gloves remain, later as a result of the action, symbolizing, through accumulated dirt (like a painting), which is a day in the city.
